Hunting as an activity refers to chase and capture of animals either for food or for recreation purpose. Most of the hunted animals are wild or those that live in the forest. Hunting can be used as means of population control of the animals. When there is a specific species of animals causing diseases then they can be hunted down to control the further spread of the disease. Hunting as a sport activity has regulations that should be followed. These can vary depending o government regulations, the sports regulations, and the local customs of the society. Hunting for sport may involve the hunter’s presentation of the head of the animal as a proof of their catch. Therefore, they can receive trophies afterwards.
There are several methods of hunting. There is beating, camouflage, use of dogs or cars to chase the animals towards another hunter, netting, stalking or trapping. The methods are exhaustive and it is upon a person or group in the sporting team to choose the ones that are allowed for the game. Whether it is hunting, hiking, fishing or camping, one should protect themselves from insect bite. Most of these insects such as flies, mosquitoes, or fleas can cause diseases that can make the life of the hunter difficult during the sports period yet it is time for competition. A sports person should carry an insect repellent that can be used on their skins or on surfaces around them. Insect repellents come in different brands and scents thus giving the hunter a variety to choose from.
Those allergic to chemical insect repellents can use natural insect repellents, which is recommended whether you are allergic or not. Insect repellent sprays can be effectively used especially on enclosed or open places because they work instantly. The most effective and reliable means to protect oneself at night is the mosquito net. Once they are treated with the right repellent then they keep the hunter safe while sleeping. However, the net cannot prevent insects like termites a combination of more than one method can be used for efficiency. Lanterns can be used to repel mosquitoes and bugs. Yard and deck fogger can be used to chase away crawling and flying insects. Another alternative is the coil. In case the hunter decides to hunt at night, he or she can use the clip on mosquito repellent that are clipped on the cloth for 12 hours protection.

I’m with D58. You can get a Mossberg 500 with three chokes for $200 at Wal-Mart. This is a pump in either 12 or 20 gauge. The 12 takes 2 3/4 in or 3in shells. For about $300 at Dick’s sporting goods, you can get a camo model for waterfowl or turkey hunting. These are on sale every couple months. The Remington 870 Express pump is another great gun for about $270. You can get it at Wal-Mart as well.
You can also find these guns at www.gunbroker.com or www.auctionarms.com. However, the guns must be shipped to a local firearms dealer (FFL), which will charge you a transfer fee of $20-40. You also must pay $20-40 shipping. By the time you add these in, you can’t beat the price at K-Mart, Wal-Mart, or a local sporting goods store.
